David Yeo
Chairman and CEO, Kydon Group
CEO, ZilLearn
David Yeo is the founder and CEO of Kydon Group, where he also serves as CEO of ZilLearn and leads the design and development of that learning platform. He is dedicated to achieving the mission of empowering human potential across Asia, and to establish Kydon as the largest and premium Learning and Technology company in the region. A visionary thinker in the future of learning and work, David was instrumental in the Singapore Armed Forces’ digital learning transformation initiative under the LEARNet program, which earned him the Defense Corporate IT Special Recognition (Individual) Award in 2011.
David’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Political Science and History from the National University of Singapore (NUS), a Master of Science in Instructional Systems from Florida State University (FSU), and two Post Graduate Diplomas—one in Organizational Development and Leadership from the Singapore Civil Service College (CSC) and another in Education Leadership from the Singapore National Institute of Education (NIE).
In addition to his roles at Kydon and ZilLearn, David contributes to the broader educational landscape as a current Board Member of the Singapore Civil Service College, a Council Member of the Singapore Institute for Adult Learning, and the Board Vice Chairman of Campus Impact Ltd.
Agnes Chai
Co-Founder and Director of Corporate Services, Kydon Group
Agnes is co-founder and Director of Corporate Services at Kydon Group, where she plays a pivotal role in steering the strategic direction, governance and financial performance of the organisation. Her commitment is to drive profitability with impact through learning innovations that boost skills, growth and productivity in organizations and individuals.
Prior to her tenure at Kydon, Agnes gained valuable experience in international relations, working with various government agencies, including the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Ministry of Defence (Singapore).
Agnes holds an MBA from Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Geography from the National University of Singapore (NUS).
Ong Tun Cheng
Director, Kydon Group
Tun Cheng serves as a Director at Kydon Group, focusing on corporate governance, strategic planning, and investment strategy. He is committed to values-based leadership and advocates for integrating social impact as a core tenet of corporate responsibility. He is also the chair of an impact investment fund advisory board and a founding board member of the Freedom Business Alliance, demonstrating his dedication to effecting positive societal change through business initiatives.
Tun Cheng holds dual MBA degrees from the National University of Singapore and the University of California, Los Angeles’s Anderson School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
Before joining the Kydon Group, he achieved significant milestones in his career, including serving as Business Development Manager for Asia-Pacific in financial services and e-commerce at Hewlett Packard AP, and as Business Unit Manager for third-party sales in Southeast Asia at Hewlett Packard Singapore. His extensive experience and achievements lend credibility to his leadership role at Kydon Group.
Dennis Chia
Director and Chief Financial Officer
Dennis is a Chartered Accountant and a council member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from the National University of Singapore, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hull in the United Kingdom, and has completed the Harvard Advanced Management Program. His academic credentials, combined with his proven track record of achievements and leadership in financial management, enhance his credibility in his current role at Kydon Group.
With a robust background in financial leadership, Dennis previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at StarHub, where he oversaw financial health and was a key driver in the execution of the company’s merger and acquisition strategy, ensuring that business decisions were financially sound while managing investor relations, procurement, supply chain, and enterprise risk management. His critical role in guiding the company through significant transformation efforts, allowed StarHub it to perform and adapt with agility in a dynamic market.
Dennis was also the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of STATS ChipPAC, a leading provider of advanced semiconductor packaging and test services. His career also includes significant roles as Vice President of Finance for Lear Corporation’s Asia Pacific Operations and CFO for both the Behringer Corporation and the Frontline Technologies Corporation. Currently, Dennis serves as Group CFO of CelcomDigi, Malaysia’s largest telecommunications provider. These positions have equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of financial management across diverse industries, contributing to his current effectiveness in strategic decision-making.
