LEADERSHIP
David Yeo
Chairman and CEO, Kydon Group
CEO, ZilLearn
David is the founder and CEO of Kydon Group. He is concurrently CEO of ZilLearn, a learning platform start-up of Kydon and leads the charge in ZilLearn’s product concept, design and development. David is a visionary thinker in the future of learning and work. He was the architect of the Singapore Armed Forces’ digital learning transformation effort under the LEARNet program.
The initiative won him the Defense Corporate IT Special Recognition (Individual) Award in 2011. David holds a Master of Science in Instructional Systems Design from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the National University of Singapore.
Sandy Ng
Chief Strategy Officer, Kydon Group
Sandy leads in the strategic planning and implementation of Kydon Group’s various business units and initiatives. She sees the Group’s effective and sustainable growth and ensures new initiatives successfully take off the ground. Before joining Kydon, Sandy has held appointments in Shanghai across the span of seed to late-stage investment fund managers, including Senior Vice President of CDIB Capital, Principal of SMC Capital, and Investment Manager at Xcelerate.
Before her career in PE/VC, she managed global enterprise resource planning (ERP) and IT projects at Keppel FELS. She received a BSE in Information Systems Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Agnes Chai
Chief Corporate Officer, Kydon Group
Agnes is co-founder and Director of Kydon Group. She provides oversight to the corporate services of the group and oversees the business’s strategic direction and expansion. Before Kydon, Agnes worked in international relations with government agencies, including the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Ministry of Defence (Singapore).
A perceptive and meticulous planner, Agnes oversaw the running of the group’s events arm, LEARNTech Asia Conference, from 2014 to 2016. Agnes is an MBA alumna of Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Geography from the National University of Singapore.
Thomas Paris
Chief Operations Officer, ZilLearn
Thomas is an accomplished digital education professional with experience across industry sectors, including education, policy, technology, and business development. He has spent over ten years developing ideas and solutions to stay ahead of the curve in both the public and private sectors.
Thomas has designed university-level courses and capstone projects. At the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), he managed the end-to-end creation and delivery of impactful L&D programs from an early start-up stage to a global audience — growing from zero to a multi-million-dollar company with clients in over 170 countries
Thomas has published articles for the ICC and G20 magazines and routinely advises start-ups in the region. He regularly presents at corporate seminars and has hosted dozens of webinars, podcasts, and panel discussions with senior industry leaders. He has been a member of four advisory boards, one of them as chairman.
Andy Ong
Chief Information Officer, Kydon Group
Andy is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Kydon Group, and the Managing Director of Kydon Technologies.
Prior to joining Kydon, Andy served as the Deputy CIO for the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). His distinguished career in the SAF spanned several decades, during which he played a pivotal role in driving technological innovation, digital transformation, and cybersecurity strategies for one of the world’s most respected defense organizations.
Andy has a Master of Science (Defence Technology) from Cranfield University, and holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) from the National University of Singapore.
Ong Tun Cheng
Non-Executive Director, Kydon Group
Tun Cheng is a Director and Consultant for Kydon Group. He is concurrently the board chairman of an international social impact fund and a board member of a global nonprofit organization. Tun Cheng provides valuable insights and counsel on significant decisions undertaken by the group.
He is an advocate of businesses playing a missional role in effecting positive change in societies. Tun Cheng has an MBA from the National University of Singapore and a second MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles’s Anderson School of Management.
Dennis Chia
Director and Advisor
Dennis is Director and Advisor to Kydon Group. As Chief Financial Officer for StarHub, he is also responsible for investor relations, merger and acquisition activities, procurement, supply chain, and enterprise risk management.
Dennis was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of STATS ChipPAC (Worldwide), a leading provider of advanced semiconductor packaging and test services. He was also with Lear Corporation as its Vice President of Finance, Asia Pacific Operations, and CFO of Behringer Corporation and Frontline Technologies Corporation.
Dennis is a Chartered Accountant and currently a council member with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honors) from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hull, United Kingdom.
