About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Solutions Associate to support our business development and pre-sales efforts. This role is ideal for a professional with 1–2 years of experience who is eager to learn the full-cycle sales process — from initial client discovery and solution scoping to proposal development and deal closing. You will work closely with the Business Unit Lead to build a strong pipeline of opportunities and secure new business across enterprise and government sectors. This is a non-commission-based role, with performance measured by proposal quality, client engagement, and successful contract awards.
Key Responsibilities
- - Support the Business Unit Lead in conducting discovery sessions with prospective clients to identify business challenges in training and learning transformation.
- - Research and identify potential leads within the enterprise and government sectors.
- - Assist in mapping client needs to KLSI's proprietary technology and consultancy services.
- Draft high-quality proposals, quotations, and formal tender responses
- - Create compelling slide decks and presentation materials for client pitches and solution demonstrations.
- - Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and accurately scoped.
- - Drive the sales process to completion by managing follow-ups, addressing client queries, and coordinating final negotiations.
- - Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of opportunities and provide regular progress reports to the Business Unit Lead.
- - Identify potential upsell/cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts through regular client check-ins.
Requirements
- - 1–2 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Business Development, Account Management, or Sales Support within tech or professional services.
- - Strong writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- - A proactive “can-do” attitude with a strong desire to learn and close deals.
- - Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- -Experience in EdTech, HR Tech, or Learning & Development industries.
- - Familiarity with Singapore government procurement (GeBIZ) or grant-based frameworks (WSG, SSG).
- - Experience contributing to formal tenders or large-scale enterprise RFPs.
